IGNITION & GLOW PLUG SYSTEM

goCORE spark plugs – stable and efficient engine operation

The plugs are available in three types: nickel, platinum, and iridium. All types ensure consistent spark formation, meet OEM requirements, offer corrosion resistance, and are designed for long-term operation.

  • Nickel spark plugs last up to 40,000 km and are suitable for standard operating conditions. They offer a reliable and cost-effective solution for regular replacement, ensuring stable engine performance even under heavy loads.
  • Platinum spark plugs last up to 60,000 km and have a thin centre electrode that requires a lower spark voltage, reducing the load on the ignition coil. They are resistant to overheating and corrosion, promote improved combustion, and help reduce fuel consumption.
  • Iridium spark plugs are designed for a service life of over 80,000 km. Thanks to iridium’s extreme hardness and thermal resistance, they provide a strong, stable spark even under heavy loads, making them ideal for modern high-performance engines.

goCORE glow plugs

Designed for diesel engines, these plugs ensure reliable cold starts in low temperatures. They feature a glow tube made of a nickel-chromium-based alloy with high thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, along with a regulating coil that prevents overheating.

Thanks to the heating coil made of an iron-aluminium-chromium alloy, the glow plugs quickly reach the operating temperature (up to 850 °C in 3–6 seconds). The components withstand extreme thermal loads – up to 1400 °C. These properties make them ideal for use in cold climates and for frequent engine starts.

goCORE ignition coils

These coils are made from heat-resistant and moisture-protected materials. The internal components are protected against vibrations and short circuits with an epoxy resin potting compound. Silicone insulation provides resistance to high temperatures, moisture, and chemicals.

Copper high-voltage terminals offer excellent conductivity and mechanical strength, contributing to more stable energy transmission. The PBT plastic housing reliably protects internal components and withstands external influences. The parts come pre-lubricated for easier installation and future removal.
